Sod Shield covers and protects newly harvested turfgrass from wind, sun and rain; and secures loose pieces of sod during transportation. Your company name, logo and other information can be printed on Sod Shield, so that your message is displayed the whole time your load is in transit.

Sod Shield Specifications

 

  • Five sided cube-cover that fits over a single pallet of rolled or cut sod
  • Fits the pallet of sod snug enough to not blow off in transit, but not so tight to create difficulty during application
  • 1/4” butterfly vents on top for easy application
  • Standard dimensions are 49” x 49” x 40” drop. Manufactured size can be adjusted to accommodate different pallet sizes
  • Outside color is opaque white for printing and to reflect heat. Inside color is opaque black to block light & heat and to keep sod cool
  • Constructed from co-extruded black and white poly
  • Sod Shield is of a lightweight nature for ease of use and economy
  • Sod Shield is 100% recyclable
