Captiva St. Augustine is the first St. Augustine grass since Floratam to resist all varieties of chinch bugs found in the state of Florida. Chinch bugs are public enemy number one for St. Augustine grass, capable of decimating lawns in a short period of time. Captiva offers the first resistance since the mid-1990's.
