Trees Are Good, Grass Is Better


The prevailing line of thinking in the media today is that ripping out a turf lawn and replacing it with a "xeriscaped" landscape is the environmentally
friendly thing to do.  However, the thought of uprooting a tree is unheard of.  You may find it surprising that grass is actually more beneficial to the environment than its tall neighbor.  The Turf Resource Center has compiled some interesting facts that will help change this mindset.
